Vivid LIVE 2013 Studio Parties
Sydney Opera House has just announced the line-up for Vivid LIVE Studio Parties.
Vivid LIVE has invited Future Classics, GoodGod Danceteria!, Astral People and Club Kooky to perform at the Opera House’s Studio and Western Foyers each week.
Saturday 25 May will see Future Classics perform, joined by Touch Sensitive and Charles Murdoch. GoodGod Danceteria! will be returning for a second year on Sunday 31 May. Making their Vivid LIVE debut on Saturday June 1 is Astral People, alongside Omar S., Africa Hitech and Jon Convex. Finally Club Kooky will return on Sunday 2 June to celebrate their 18th birthday.

John Butler joins Gurrumul on Barunga Festival 2013 lineup
The Barunga Festival 2013 just got bigger, with the announcement of John Butler joining Gurrumul Yunupingu at Australia’s most anticipated Indigenous festival.
The festival is in its 28th year and takes place over the long weekend from Friday 7 – Monday 10 June. Tickets are available from Moshtix. Adult tickets cost $30, children 12 – 18 tickets are $10, and children under 12 can enter for free.
Weekend Vines Wee Waa Camping Festival
Friday 17 May 2013 marks the 79th annual Wee Waa show.
This year there is an added surprise, with Daft Punk launching their new album Random Access Memories to 4000 lucky golden ticket holders. And this is only the Friday night!
Other first release artists include Olibusta (France), Marvin Roland(UK), Mr Pyz(Melbourne), Crease(UK) and Pablo J and the Lobsterettes(Sydney).
Weekend Vines features underground electronic jams, full festival sound system, lighting rigs and visuals, fully licensed bar and food stalls and busses which run between the showground and Seplin Estate.

Second artist announcements snowballing
The second round of artist announcements for Perisher Snowy Mountains of Music Festival is here!
Now performing at the event will be ARIA nominated Blue King Brown and Kylie Auldist and her band the Glenroy All Stars.
There is also The Gang Of Brothers, The Fraudsters, Oh Pep!, Sunas and Mzaz.
The festival takes place from Friday 7 to Monday 10 June and will have over 120 concerts across 8 on-snow venues. Early bird tickets are still available until May 24 for $125 for a Long Weekend Festival Pass. Early Bird Festival Accommodation Packages are also still available.
Release The Bats – an all day Halloween party extravaganza
All Tomorrow’s Parties has announced their return to Melbourne for a special all day Halloween party called Release The Bats. Headlining the event is The Breeders and The Jesus Lizard.
ATP has just announced more artists to the line up! New York City’s Television will be performing their classic Marquee Moon album in full. 21 year old Pennsylvanian Balam Acab will also be performing, as will Pop Crimes (the songs of Rowland S. Howard), which is a cast of performers put together by Mick Harvey and paying tribute to Rowland.
There are a bunch of other artists, and more will be announced soon! So make sure to grab your tickets while they last. Tickets are $150+bf and are on sale from www.atpfestival.com . The festival will be held on Saturday October 26, starting at midday and running until 1am, with headliners finishing by 11pm. It will be held at the Westgate Entertainment Centre and Grand Star Reception, two venues in one complex in Altona. There will be two stages, a cinema, art exhibition and an amazing food court.

CherryRock013 announces playing times
The 7th Annual AC/DC Lane Rock ‘N Roll festival is here – CherryRock013.
Added to the already announced line up is Chris Russell’s Chicken Walk, who will join Californian band Undia and Truckfighters from Sweden, who are playing in Australia for the first time as co-headliners.
The festival takes place on Sunday 5 May from midday until 9:30pm. There will be 14 acts across two stages. Tickets are $70+bf and only available from www.cherrybar.com.au

The Gympie Music Muster is proud to announce an exclusive festival appearance by The Seekers. Their appearance will provide a one-off opportunity for fans to experience The Seekers under the stars.
